Hola! The best quarter of the year has finally arrived, and we’re starting off this spooky month with one of my all-time favorite horror films, “Scream” (1996), written by Kevin Williamson and directed by the late Wes Craven. It’s so much fun to see how all of the characters are written in the screenplay (this version from Scripthive is a 1995 rewrite). Character descriptions are usually minimal and yet inform so much. Sideny is “sharp and clever with deep, lonely eyes.” Billy is “handsome and alluring… star quarterback/class president type.” As we’ve seen with previous character introduction videos, there is no precise formula for introducing characters in a screenplay. In this video, we’ll take at look at how Kevin Williamson wrote his character descriptions for Scream. #movie #story #horror #writing #screenwriting 00:00 Intro 00:50 Main Cast Character Descriptions 02:40 Supporting Cast Character Descriptions 03:48 Additional Cast Character Descriptions 04:49 More Character Descriptions 05:14 Outro ADDITIONAL VIDEO DETAILS: -Clips and images used in this video are from publicly available promotional materials, used under fair use for commentary and educational purposes. “Scream” - written by Kevin Williamson -Music credit: “Dynamite” by Patrick Patrikios and “Dead Wrong” by Jeremy Blake ADDITIONAL CHANNEL DETAILS: More character introduction videos:    • Character Intros   Character introduction shorts:    • Character Intros (Shorts)   -Email: epicallycreate@gmail.com
