1201 - Blackpool Tramway: Lightpool, Flexitys, Blackpool & Stagecoach buses 31st October 2026

Welcome to Podbaba Transport Video 1201. We show you, here, a compilation of photographs taken around Blackpool towards the end of October 2026. It includes the illuminated feature trams 733-734 and 736, displayed as part of the Lightpool festival at North Pier & Tower loop and Starr Gate headshunt respectively. Some are taken during daylight hours, but the rest are after dark when the illuminations really bring the trams to the forefront. There are also photographs and video of one Blackpool Transport's new training buses - 972. We still have to find 971 and the route learning Optare Solo 292 now that is has acquired a full rear advert for driver training. Most of the fleet now has driver training vinyls on the rears and we include some of them. More Stagecoach Cumbria & Lancashire buses have been painted into Steel blue and we include them too. Thanks to Tony Armitage and Oliver Shenton for allowing us to use some of their photographs. Thank you for watching this 2026 Youtube Podbaba Transport presentation.
