The fenders on our ‘72 Nova were beyond rough - rotted, patched, layered in decades of paint and filler. Most builders would’ve tossed them. But this isn’t most builds.
I’ve spent five days fighting rust, burning through abrasives, grinding until my back gave out -all to try and save these original pieces. Why? Because this project is about preserving history the hard way. No sandblaster used here folks!
In this episode, we patch, weld, strip, and dig deep into the car’s story - and in the process, we unlock something far more important than just body panels.
The direction of this build has officially changed. And now, for the first time, this project finally has a name…
Welcome to the journey of The Nostalgia Nova.
🧠 Have you ever tried to save original parts instead of replacing them? Was it worth it? Let me know in the comments.
