Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse - Part 7

You are guided through your meeting with Laine, to some extent. You can have another look round Henri's office, and honestly I thought you might have to find something else or potentially somehow open the safe this time, but once you sit down next to Laine, Nico spots a folder under the sofa and sets about trying to get it. The main thing is to get Laine out of the way, but Nico won't grab the folder for fearing of touching him and he seems unaware of the folder itself. Talking to him, he doesn't say anything interesting but Nico will eventually ask him for champagne. You don't really have to do anything, just pick up the glass and speak to him and Nico will lob it into his crotch. This gets him up in a flurry to clean himself, and Nico has a look at the folder. This gets her the same name as George, as the owner of La Maledicció; Mr Medovsky. That done, Nico makes her excuses and leaves. If we are ever to get into that safe though, we'll need to come back. Back at her apartment, Nico's editor wants to take her off the story. George turns up, having been let go by Navet, and then so does Marques. We get a little backstory about his family and the religious theory behind the painting, but the main thing is that Nico looks up the number for Waterloo Motors, the company logo that was on the killer's helmet and sends it to George. We take back over as George at this point and next step will be to call Waterloo. Professionally, he's now interested in proving that Marques is the owner of the painting so his insurance company doesn't have to pay out for the theft.
