Preserved Cumberland Leyland National MK1 353 (GRM 353L)

Of course, no Whitehaven LN event is complete without at least one of these! New in 1973 to Cumberland Motor Services before then becoming 202 with Stagecoach (even transferring up to Perth at one point for a 'bus war' against Strathtay Scottish at the time!) and then working with Birmingham Coach Company, Leyland National Mk1 353 runs a town shuttle around Whitehaven during the LN54 weekend event on 02/05/26. Not the fastest ride but a nice sounding Leyland 510 engine :)
