Hannah prayed. Samuel listened. Eli knew what was happening. Hophni and Phinehas served in the house of God, yet their actions caused people to despise what was supposed to be sacred. These chapters raise a question we can't ignore: What happens when we know something is wrong, have the authority to address it, but keep turning our heads? And for those entrusted with teaching, leading, or watching over souls, Scripture makes it clear that influence comes with accountability before God. But 1 Samuel 1-3 doesn't leave us staring at judgment. Eli asked a powerful question: “If a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him?” (1 Samuel 2:25)... The New Testament gives us the answer: “We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” (1 John 2:1). That's where the hope is. When God's Word exposes what's wrong in us, we don't have to hide behind a title, make excuses, or keep pretending. We can repent and turn to Jesus Christ, our Advocate and Mediator. Join me as we study 1 Samuel chapters 1-3 KJV and see what Hannah, Eli, his sons, and Samuel teach us about surrender, accountability, obedience, and what we do when God's Word confronts us. 📖 Bring your Bible, and let's study the Word together. #biblestudy #jesuslovesyou #bible
