Holyhead Station is located as the terminus of the North Wales Coast Mainline from Chester via Llandudno Junction The station is managed by Transport For Wales with both TFW and Avanti West Coast services calling here: TFW services regularly head towards: Chester, Manchester Airport, Shrewsbury, Birmingham International and Cardiff Central At the most recent time of filming TFW services here were operated with a mix of Class 158 and Class 197 Diesel Multiple Units. Avanti West Coast services operate every few hours towards Chester and London Euston via Crewe using Class 805 Diesel Electric Multiple Units to operate these services.
