This is the third and final part of my trip to the Peak District in Derbyshire and into Staffordshire. Leaving Macclesfield and heading over the amazing twists and turns of the A537, Cat and Fiddle pass. Unfortunately, this road is limited to 50mph (80kph) due to the high accident rates thanks to speeding drivers and riders. the speed limit is enforced by an average speed camera system. This makes the ride look somewhat pedestrian (because it is) but the views are amazing and it does give you a little time to appreciate them. There's also some interesting information for whisky and gin drinkers as I ride past the Cat and Fiddle Inn at the top of the pass. I then head down into Buxton and over to Glossop with a view to riding the A57, Snake Pass down to Derwent Water reservoir, only to find it closed for it's full length due to landslides. I reroute and head back on an alternative route, eventually ending up at the beautiful area of Edale in the High Peaks, and closing the video as I ride through Chesterfield on the way home. I hope you enjoy this video. Please remember to Like, Comment and Subscribe to the channel. 👍 You can support the channel at patreon.com/motomogul or you can buy me a coffee at ko-fi.com/motomogul. The Cat and Fiddle pub website is at https://catfiddleweasel.com/ The online distillery shop can be found by simply typing 'forest whisky' into your search engine of choice. You will require 2 x 256gb cards for a full days riding if you’re on tour.
