🇩🇪 An Indian Temple in Germany, unexpected Telugu prasadam, Indian shopping streets, and delicious Indian food — all in one day! Welcome back to Miles with Gagan! ❤️ In our 4th Telugu travel vlog from Germany, we’re taking you along on a beautiful day trip from Düsseldorf to Hamm and Dortmund, exploring Indian culture, authentic South Indian food, local attractions, and everyday life in Germany. Our journey starts in Düsseldorf, where we live, as we head to Hamm, Germany, to visit the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple. 🙏 Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Hamm, Germany Finding a traditional Indian temple in Germany is always a special experience, especially when you’re living thousands of kilometres away from home! We visited the temple, experienced the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful puja, and received a lovely surprise — delicious Indian prasadam! 🍛 Telugu Prasadam in Germany! We enjoyed traditional South Indian prasadam, including: Pappu Annam (పప్పు అన్నం) Gaarelu (గారెలు) Appadam (అప్పడం) Enjoying these familiar flavours in Germany made the visit even more memorable. 🏙️ Exploring Dortmund, Germany After visiting the temple in Hamm, we continued our journey to Dortmund, one of the major cities in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany. We explored the city centre, walked through the shopping streets, admired the architecture, and discovered a surprisingly huge seesaw in the middle of the city! 🇮🇳 Indian Shops & Tamil/Sri Lankan Community in Dortmund One of the most interesting discoveries was a street with several Indian, Tamil, and Sri Lankan shops and restaurants. We explored places including: 🛍️ Gopara Gnanam 🛍️ Sweet Chilli 🛍️ Annam Tamil Foods It’s fascinating to see how Indian communities preserve their food, culture, and traditions while living in Germany. 🍽️ Indian Food at Kohinoor Restaurant, Dortmund After all that walking and exploring, we stopped at Kohinoor for some of our all-time favourites: 🍛 Paneer Tikka Masala 🌶️ Gobi Manchurian A day of temples, traditional prasadam, Indian shops, and comforting food — what more could we ask for? 🚗 Our Route Düsseldorf → Hamm → Dortmund → Düsseldorf 🎥 About Miles with Gagan We’re an Indian couple living in Düsseldorf, Germany, sharing our experiences through Telugu travel and lifestyle vlogs.
