A Seat at the Table | PG Songs

A Seat at the Table From Before the Light Listen and read the lyrics: https://pgsongs.com/before-the-light/... There's a long table waiting In a country up ahead With a chair already pulled out And a place where I'll be fed It wasn't set this morning It was set before my birth A seat with my name carved in it At the feast of all the earth There's a seat at the table And it's mine, it's always been Not because I earned it Not because I let me in The Host pulled out the chair Before I ever came He set a place in glory And He carved into it my name And the gatekeepers who told me I was never on the list, They don't keep the Host's table And His guest list won't be missed The wide arms of the Maker Reach past every fence and wall The ones the camps rejected Get the warmest seats of all There's a seat at the table And it's mine, it's always been Not because I earned it Not because I let me in The Host pulled out the chair Before I ever came He set a place in glory And He carved into it my name Come in from the rejection Come in from the cold The seat was always saved for you Before the world was old There's a seat at the table And it's mine, it's always been Not because I earned it Not because I let me in The Host pulled out the chair Before I ever came He set a place in glory And He carved into it my name
