This route winds through the heart of the Swiss Alps, passing turquoise lakes, dramatic mountain scenery, and the UNESCO-listed Bernina Railway. The drive begins at the top of Maloya Pass, and we wind our way to St. Moritz through stunning landscapes dotted with beautiful lakes framed by majestic mountains. St. Moritz is a major tourist hub in Switzerland, renowned for its glitzy atmosphere, winter sports, and the "champagne climate" with an average of 322 sunny days a year. After soaking in the elegance of St. Moritz, we ascend to Bernina Pass and then down to Lake Poschiavo. The Bernina Pass offers some of the most spectacular panoramic views in the Alps. In this section, the road frequently runs parallel to the historic Bernina Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its engineering marvels and stunning alpine crossings.
