Building a Dog Box for a Bike

SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/lifeofluke I wanted to bring my dog, Nina, along with me on long distance bike adventures, so this DIY dog box carrier was the solution. It is a blast cruising around town with her on the back and she gets to see all the scenery and people and other dogs we pass - she loves it! The box is a safe and stable platform built with strong angle iron bolted to the bike rack, a plywood base, PVC piping as rails, and a foam pad for her to sit on. The total cost was ~$150. The e-bike I am using has 4" fat tires so the larger tires help to handle the extra weight of the dog on the bike. Thanks for watching!
