i tried to identify every tree in new york

every day i walk through the same parks, walk the same paths, by the same trees, and yet I don't know what any of them are called. I know oaks, birches, spruces and acacia trees from minecraft but I wouldn't know what they looked like in real life. So I made a challenge for myself to try to identify as many trees as I could in Tompkins Square Park. it was harder than I thought but man was it fun to spend such a beautiful day out in the park, learning something new! hope you enjoy and hope it inspires you to spend some time in nature and learn something new
