The whole London Marathon course in four minutes, flown from about 3 km up over real satellite imagery, with four drops to street height where the course makes its case: Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge and halfway on The Highway, Canary Wharf, and the Embankment past Big Ben into The Mall. It opens on the whole course from over Blackheath, and it ends over Hyde Park looking back along everything you have just run. London finishes 36.3 m lower than it starts: 41.4 m above the sea on Blackheath, 5.1 m on The Mall. It spends 35.4 m of that inside the first 10 km, and from Greenwich to the finish it never rises above 11.2 m. It climbs 42.4 m in a whole marathon, where Berlin climbs 35.9 m. Start and finish sit 10.7 km apart, 25% of the race against a 50% limit, and it drops 0.86 m a kilometre against a 1 m limit. Sabastian Sawe ran 1:59:30 here in April 2026.
