Downtown Chicago in Early Sept. 2025: A Rush-Hour Walk

Long time no walk! It felt different walking downtown Chicago in this rush-hour afternoon of early September 2025, and I can’t and don’t want to analyze what was really different—Chicago or my mood. There were a lot of people along my walking route. Most of them were office workers on their way home, I believe. My walk started in the Loop, crossed Chicago River South Branch and continued in West Loop, and ended on Chicago Riverwalk.
