Women Have Always Served | The History Behind the Women Veterans Monument

Women have always served. From the American Revolution to today's military, women have answered the call to serve, sacrifice, and defend our nation. But their contributions have often gone unrecognized. This video explores the extraordinary history of women in military service, the historical significance of the Greater Los Angeles VA campus, and why representation matters in the very spaces created to honor and support our veterans. The Women Veterans Monument at the Greater Los Angeles VA is more than a tribute to the past. It is a commitment to ensuring that generations of women who served are seen, remembered, and recognized. We are not rewriting history. We are making sure their stories are part of it. Join us in bringing this monument to life!
