March 2022 - Los Angeles Veterans Collaborative

Welcome to the Month of March where we honor Women's History Month and celebrate Women’s Military History Week. March was designated Women's History Month by presidential proclamation since 1995. The month is set aside to honor women's contributions to American history. March 14 – 20, 2022 is Women's Military History Week in the State of California, where we recognize and honor women in the military. The Access and Engagement Working Group starts off our meeting with looking into the trends taking place in each Los Angeles Supervisorial District, allows for space for VSOs to review what's working and what we need to address as well as learn about upcoming events taking place. We also learned about the effects that Covid-19 has on the brain and how that can impact the work that we do and our loved ones in the future.
