THE ELDORADO BIARRITZ is Side C of my series CLEMENT V CITY OF GLENDALE. This song, set to 98 BPM, is the continuation of the Ninth Circuit case regarding the Glendale California Police Seizure of Virginia Clement’s Caddy from her residential parking space in Glendale, CA. I think the 1980s neon artwork fits nicely for this song. Original lyrics (c) 2026 by Phoenix Genesis: Side C: Clement v City of Glendale The Eldorado Biarritz [Verse 1] White leather seats fading slow in the shade The finest machine that the factory made Nineteen-eighty-one was a glorious year But for seven long seasons I haven’t changed gear Virginia comes out just to check on my frame She handles the papers, she honors my name I sit in my stall at the hotel backyard While the sun in California bakes the asphalt hard [Chorus] But the Glendale Police didn’t care for my grace They sent Monterey Tow to clear out my space No warning on the windshield, no knock on the door Just iron chains dragging my weight from the floor [Verse 2] The Monterey lot is a graveyard of steel Where they lock up your memories and charge by the wheel They say that my tabs aren’t the color they find But Virginia’s alternate forms were all signed I’m a Cadillac dreaming of open highways Stuck in an impoundment yard wasting my days They took me in silence, they left her alone With an empty parking space cold as a stone [Final Chorus] Yeah, the Glendale Police didn’t care for my grace They sent Monterey Tow to clear out my space No warning on the windshield, no knock on the door Just iron chains dragging my weight from the floor
