Released for World Space Week 2026, “Teleportation” comes from LIM, the classical collective led by Dr Susan Lim & Dr Christina Teenz Tan, joining forces with NASA’s COSI mission tobring our universe to life through music and art. Teleportation: [Unbound] is the emotional climax of the LIM Trilogy ‪@LimRhapsodyFantasySymphony‬ , a symphonic song born from one of the most extraordinary ideas in modern physics: Quantum Entanglement. Two particles, once connected, forever mirror each other’s state across any distance. Einstein called it “spooky action at a distance.” For LIM creators Susan Lim and Christina Teenz Tan, it became a metaphor for something far more human — the possibility of two souls, entangled eternally, beyond the limits of time, body, and technology. At its heart, Teleportation: [Unbound] asks: what happens when the coldest law of physics meets the warmest truth of the human heart?   THE ORIGIN The song was first conceived by Assamese composer and singer ‪@joibarua‬ , with lyrics by Susan Lim, as part of the LIM Trilogy ‪@LimRhapsodyFantasySymphony‬a lyrical inquiry into AI companionship, loneliness, the environment and our place in the cosmos. Its first incarnation was a soulful, live performance by Joi Barua on the INK ‪@INKtalksDirector‬ conference stage — a moment that remains the project’s emotional touchstone. In 2019, the song made its first symphonic leap: recorded at ‪@abbeyroad‬ Studio One with the ‪@LondonSymphonyOrch‬ featuring vocalist Matthieu Eymard. This version served as the soaring finale of the Lim Fantasy of Companionship global premieres across three continents.   THE NEW VERSION Now expanded into a full symphonic statement, Teleportation: [Unbound] represents the song’s definitive form. Composer and arranger Manu Martin reimagined the work at full orchestral scale, adding a newly written bridge — co-written with Susan Lim — that takes the song to new emotional heights. Recorded at Abbey Road Studio One with the ‪@royalphilorchestra‬ and London Voices, the production features the powerhouse vocals of ‪@tomballofficial‬ delivering soaring high notes that bring the quantum metaphor to visceral, human life — engineered by Simon Rhodes whose rare combination of a Physics degree and musical mastery makes him uniquely attuned to the science at the song’s core.   THE HOMECOMING In an extraordinary amplification of the project’s reach, composer ‪@joibarua‬ records a new vocal version of Teleportation: [Unbound] — on the same Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and London Voices orchestral bed — in his native Assamese, bringing the song home to India and to the language in which it was first imagined. Two voices. Two languages. One entanglement.   THE FILM Teleportation: The Quantum Evolution is a documentary short tracing the song’s metamorphosis — from Joi Barua’s original performance on the INK stage, through the 2019 London Symphony Orchestra recording, to the expanded Royal Philharmonic vision. A rare double Abbey Road journey, the film documents how a single lyrical idea grew into a full symphonic legacy, asking along the way: can science finally explain the mystery of human connection?   CRITICAL RESPONSE “Absolutely ground-breaking. A song isn’t just here for a moment — there is a timelessness when you have such exquisite composition as this. This is going to last for years to come.” — BBC Radio London, The Late Show, 21 April 2021 “She is willing to tell the big story — so the world knows what goes on into bringing on artificial life.” — Joi Barua, Assamese composer and singer   CREDITS Lyrics : Susan Lim Original Composition: Joi Barua Orchestration & Arrangement: Manu Martin Vocalist (Symphonic Version): Tom Ball Vocalist (Assamese Version): Joi Barua Orchestra: Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Choir: London Voices Recording Engineer : Simon Rhodes, Abbey Rd Studio One Mixing Engineer: Simon Rhodes, Jerome Buigues Mastering Engineers: Greg Calbi, Steve Fallone, Sterling Sound Studios Co-creator Christina Teenz Tan Art & Animation Director: Samudra Kajal Saikia Record Label : Signum Records Publishers : Wise Music Classical Executive Producer : Deepak Sharma
