Recorded at Omnigent & Multi-Agent Coding Meetup @ Databricks NYC | August 19, 2026
Coding agents don’t compose. You can’t easily move context between Claude, Codex, and Cursor, collaborate across a team, or control token spend the same way on every harness.
In this talk, Denny Lee (Databricks) introduces Omnigent, an open-source meta-harness that sits above the agents you already use. Switch harnesses, fork context from one model to another, and apply the same security and cost policies across systems.
In this talk
🔹 Why coding agents and harnesses don’t interoperate
🔹 How a meta-harness sits above Claude, Codex, Cursor, and similar tools
🔹 Multi-agent debates: agents critique and improve each other’s code
🔹 Team collab: view and comment on files, plus live coding on another machine with granted permissions
🔹 Execution policies: required approvals for file and shell operations
🔹 Q&A: personal budgets vs enterprise-scale security and token governance. Pair Omnigent with a centralized service or marketplace, such as GitHub or Databricks Unity AI Gateway.
