Grinding Ranked Battle Royale (and Reload) for a Wrap...

Wonder how many times I'll be close to hitting Unreal because of a QUEST... I originally had this video finished like a week or two ago, but I didn't really like how it turned out so I cleaned it up a bit when I had the time, since as of uploading, I am currently on my third week of my last quarter for the school year. It's a bit unfortunate that I wasn't able to get much in, but just like last time (and really back in September), my videos tend to be a little bit outdated, so I'm unsure if these quests still are a thing or if other updates have improved (or ruined let's be honest) the current gameplay loop of Battle Royale. Other than that, this is just a fun upload for playing ranked in a less tense state, rather just grinding out ranks to get a silly wrap that is just going to get added to my collection of wraps that I cycle through. I don't really like the idea of having cosmetics locked behind competitive ranks, since I wouldn't doubt it feels daunting for some people to even look at ranked in any way shape or form. And considering I don't think any of these items have shown up in the item shop, it really feels condescending for people that want these cosmetics but don't have the skill to hit Unreal throughout the season. There's an obviously simple solution of just including them in the item shop, but as I've seen with the Burn Bright emote, it has not returned since Chapter 4 Season 2, despite being a simple Ranked quest and there's definitely a plethora of other items that have never returned as a result of being Ranked-exclusive. I get the incentive of rewarding higher ranks, but I won't shy away from the fact that there'll definitely be some people who'd want these items but aren't willing to crunch out hours of ranked just for a simple wrap or emote. Aside from this, I'm not sure when I'll have another chance to play again these next 2 months or so, but I'll definitely try to get another video of whatever before the season ends, since I'm sure some new things would be added by the end... Surely.
