Air Canada Is Done With South Carolina and Canadians Aren't Surprised

Well, Vermont is still missing its Canadian visitors, and now Air Canada has decided it won't be bringing back its flights to South Carolina for summer 2027. I guess all those American businesses hoping Canadians will suddenly return to normal might have a bit more waiting to do. In today's video, we're looking at a report out of Vermont, where businesses are feeling the decline in Canadian visitors and some are offering discounts to bring us back. But there's also a Canadian couple who say they may never visit the United States again, and I think that says a lot about how badly the Canada US relationship has changed. Then there's Air Canada, which has decided to discontinue its Toronto to Charleston route. With fewer flights and seats on that route compared to 2024, I think these airline decisions are worth paying attention to when we're talking about the US Tourism Decline and Canadians avoiding US travel. We've been watching the Canadian boycott of US travel for quite some time now, and while some reports suggest things are improving, I don't think Americans should assume that means Canadians have suddenly forgotten the tariffs, the annexation threats, or how we've been treated. ----------------------------------- How To Support The Guard The Leaf Channel Buy Me A Coffee https://buymeacoffee.com/guardtheleaf Guard The Leaf Substack https://guardtheleaf.substack.com/ Guard The Leaf Merch Store https://shop.guardtheleaf.com ----------------------------------- e-7531 (Foreign affairs) https://www.ourcommons.ca/petitions/e...
