There will never be enough hours in the day for everything I want to create. I want to draw, make handmade inks, explore old villages, work in the garden, restore Olive, tell stories, make puzzles, build new worlds… and somehow find time to simply sit and breathe. But lately I've been asking myself a different question: what if the answer isn't finding more time, but making better use of the time I already have? This week, while finishing a new colouring page and continuing to build The Inky Alchemist Society, I've been thinking about creativity, time, perfectionism and the pressure to do everything at once. I've realised that my creative life doesn't need to be built in one enormous burst of productivity. It can happen slowly — one drawing, one observation, one little idea at a time. Perhaps we don't need to fit everything into one life.
