Nano Banana — Make the Picture, But Check It First | Gemini Image Generation for Students

Inside the Gemini app, Nano Banana turns your own chapter into one clear picture — but first check every label against your book. In this video: a five-step workflow, one full physics graph session (a mistake caught and fixed by rewriting the instruction), and three traps to avoid. Note: On a personal Gemini account, users aged 13 or older can GENERATE images, but EDITING an image is for users aged 18 or older only — so this video's student workflow is generate, check, fix the instruction and generate again. On a school Workspace account, younger students also cannot edit uploaded images. Model note (checked 25 Oct 2026 from Google's own pages): Google's Gemini Apps Help page today names Nano Banana 2 as the current image model in the Gemini app (Create images); Nano Banana Pro is the paid redo option. Free-tier users have limits — your account shows the exact limit. Check what your own account shows, because model names change fast.
