Quantum Mechanics - Field Quantization : Quantization of Schrodinger (Non-relativistic) Field

Second quantization of the Schrodinger field involves promoting the field to an operator field and introducing creation and annihilation operators. These operators satisfy commutation relations, and the field operators can be expressed in terms of them. The Hamiltonian of the field is written in terms of the field operators and their derivatives. This formalism allows for the description of quantum systems with an arbitrary number of particles and provides a powerful tool for studying many-body quantum phenomena.
