Fisher FP-404 along the Connecticut shoreline

Nothing spectacular, I really need to get a better camera, but there are so few FP-404 videos on Youtube I thought I'd share this one. This video of an experimental-amateur built (homebuilt) Fisher FP-404 biplane was taken on a flight from Chester, CT, along Long Island Sound to Richmond, RI for the annual pig roast, and return. Missing the landing at Richmond because I dropped the camera and it slid under the seat where I couldn't reach it, and the takeoff from Richmond because it was a dicey takeoff over rising terrain and I didn't want to be distracted by the camera. But I think it captures the spirit of the beautiful day for flying. Some complain about the music replacing the engine sound in flying videos and I'm often one of them, I prefer to mix the two, but all the camera picked up was wind noise; you couldn't hear the engine at all. At 1:55 you can see the site of the old Doane's Airport, where Howard Hughes used to land his plane when he was visiting Katharine Hepburn, who lived on the shoreline just south of there. Taken with a cheap "gum pack" camera mostly clipped to my sunglasses, compiled with Arcsoft Showbiz, stabilized with VReveal.
