Brown Bear viewing at Brooks Falls Alaska USA (Part 3)

In September 2013 our family traveled to Katmai National Park to view the Bears in their (near) natural environment. Two hundred and fifty miles southwest of Anchorage, in Alaska’s Bristol Bay area, lies Katmai National Park. Each year millions of salmon burst from the Bering Sea into the lakes and streams of the area. These fish provide a food source for the world’s largest population of brown bears.
