A new record for milk procurement may be set at Mehsana's Dudhsagar Dairy this time... Milk production is witnessing an increase with the onset of winter... According to the dairy's chairman, Ashok Chaudhary, a daily procurement of 4.5 million liters of milk was recorded during the peak winter season last year... While this year, it is estimated that a daily total of 5 million liters of milk from within Gujarat and outside Gujarat will arrive at the dairy... Importantly, over the last five years, milk procurement at Dudhsagar Dairy has been increasing at an average of 8 to 10 percent every year.
