Welcome back to another edition of TranSan Labs! In this session, I'm taking a more laid-back approach to match my current pace, pulling a melody right out of my head to see what we can build. Join me as I experiment with new sounds and "coagulate" a brand-new track from scratch. Inside this session: The Concept: Developing a "laid-back" tune, working with a simple melody pattern that popped into my head just before the stream. Sound Exploration: Diving into the "Lowquest" VST to find cinematic pads and unique textures, like the "Goose Pluck" and "Gritty Tubes." Drum Design: Utilizing 80s-inspired synth-wave drum kits to build a solid, rhythmic foundation. Layering Textures: Experimenting with sitar sound fonts and cinematic strings to create a unique, slightly "odd" but atmospheric bridge. The Final Result: A full play-through of the new track, tentatively titled "Beta Blocker."
