The REAL Reason Peyton Manning Has NEVER Run an NFL Team

Peyton Manning was basically a head coach in a helmet, yet 10 years after retiring, he still hasn’t spent a single day in an NFL front office. With Peyton Manning general manager talk back in the headlines after the Colts fired Chris Ballard, this video digs into the real reason the Peyton Manning front office chapter has never been written. Bill Polian said back in 2016 that Peyton could step into a John Elway-type role very quickly. Since then, his name has come up with the Titans, the Colts in 2017, and the groups bidding on the Broncos, and every time, the story ended the same way. He also turned down the Monday Night Football booth, then built Omaha Productions and the ManningCast on his own terms. We break down what has actually been reported this week, why none of it has been confirmed, and the one league rule that makes the Colts job far more complicated than it looks. The answer has been hiding in plain sight for a decade. If you could hand Peyton one job in football tomorrow, would it be general manager, owner, or staying right where he is? #PeytonManning #NFL #ColtsGMSearch
