Place a heat-safe stand inside a heavy-bottomed kadhai. Cover and preheat on low heat for around 10 minutes. Do not add water. 2. Grease a cake tin and line the bottom with baking paper. 3. Sift together the flour and baking powder. 4. In another bowl, whisk the curd and sugar. Add the oil, vanilla essence and milk, then mix until smooth. 5. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Add the crumbled Motichoor Laddu according to your recipe. 6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin and tap gently to remove large air pockets. 7. Carefully place the tin on the stand inside the preheated kadhai. 8. Cover with a lid and bake on low heat for approximately 35–45 minutes, checking for doneness. Actual baking time depends on the kadhai, tin and batter. 9. Insert a toothpick into the centre. If it comes out clean or with a few dry crumbs, the cake is ready. 10. Let the cake cool before removing it from the tin. Decorate with Motichoor Laddu crumbs and chopped nuts if desired. 💡 *TIPS FOR A PERFECT EGGLESS TEA CAKE* Use room-temperature ingredients. Do not overmix the batter after adding the flour. Always bake on low heat in the kadhai. Avoid opening the lid frequently during baking. Make sure the cake has cooled before slicing. Use a heat-safe stand and tin, and follow safe kadhai baking practices. ❤️ *LIKE, SHARE AND SUBSCRIBE!* If you enjoyed this Motichoor Laddu Tea Cake recipe, please LIKE the video, SHARE it with your friends and SUBSCRIBE to *Kairahomebaker by Preeti Nitant* for more 100% eggless recipes, tea cakes, cookies, brownies and homemade bakery-style treats. 🔔 Turn on notifications so you never miss a new recipe!
