蓮の水墨画｜葉と花のバランスを探る　Lotus in Sumi-e | Exploring the Balance Between Leaves and Flowers

蓮の水墨画は、花だけでなく大きな葉とのバランスが難しいですよね。 今回の動画では、 墨の濃淡活かしながら、 試行錯誤した構図で、メリハリをつけて描いてみました。 蓮は仏教において清浄や悟りの象徴とされ、 水墨画でも古くから親しまれてきた題材です。 ぜひご一緒に描いてみてくださいね！ —————- In lotus sumi-e painting, it’s not only the flower that matters—the balance between the large leaves and the blossom can be quite challenging. In this video, I experiment with composition and use varying ink tones to create contrast and visual balance throughout the painting. The lotus has long been cherished in Buddhist culture as a symbol of purity and enlightenment, and it has been a beloved subject in sumi-e painting for centuries. It’s bleed-resistant, has a standard thickness, and I highly recommend it for beginners. https://amzn.to/4ofcbZL 顔料は呉竹のものを使っています。 こちらのセットは、赤や緑などよく使う色が複数入っており非常におすすめです。 例えば、赤は紅梅・紅・朱・臙脂で全く違うニュアンスの表現ができます。 I use Kuretake pigments. This set is highly recommended as it contains multiple shades of essential colors like red and green.
