I've been overthinking YouTube a lot lately. I've made hundreds of short-form videos, but YouTube feels completely different. There's something about sitting down and documenting your life in a longer format that feels much more vulnerable. So this week, I'm trying something simple: showing up. I'm documenting a week of my life as I continue trying to become a better person physically, mentally and financially. From working from a café and trying to romanticize an otherwise ordinary Monday, to opening up about the reality behind what you see on social media, reaching out to my first brand, cooking dinner for my girlfriend, exploring the Old Biscuit Mill and Neighbourgoods Market, and finally confronting just how much my life has changed since losing weight. There are some highs, some difficult moments, some really good food, and a few reminders that life doesn't always look the way it does on Instagram. I'm still figuring this whole thing out, but I'm learning to enjoy the process. Thanks for being here.
