Wow Now, I can’t believe that actually WORKED! 😱 Thank you for sharing this recipe!!!
⭐️Beef and Macaroni
1. 1 box (16 oz) Elbow Macaroni
2. 1 pound Ground Beef (Look for "80/20" or
"Ground Chuck")
3. 1 jar of Beef Gravy (This is easier than making sauce from scratch!)
4. 1 jar of Applesauce
5. 1 bag of Shredded Swiss or Cheddar Cheese
6. Salt and Pepper
Step-by-Step Instructions (Easy Mode)
Step 1: Cook the Noodles
• Fill a big pot halfway with water. Add a big pinch of salt.
• Put it on the stove and turn the heat to High.
• When the water starts bubbling (boiling), dump in the whole box of macaroni.
• Let it cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Taste one noodle-if it's soft, it's done!
• Drain the water out in the sink using a strainer.
Put the noodles back in the pot.
Step 2: Cook the Meat
• While the noodles are boiling, put a large frying pan on the stove. Turn the heat to Medium-High.
• Put the ground beef into the pan. Use a wooden spoon to break it into tiny pieces.
• Cook it until you don't see any more pink color (about 7-10 minutes).
• Important: Carefully tilt the pan and spoon out the extra oily liquid into a trash can (not the sink!).
Step 3: Add the Sauce
• Turn the heat down to Low.
• Open the jar of Beef Gravy and pour it over the cooked meat.
• Stir it all together for 2 minutes until it is hot and bubbly.
Step 4: Serve it Up!
• Put a big pile of noodles on a plate.
• Scoop the meat and gravy right on top of the noodles.
• Sprinkle a lot of cheese over the hot meat so it melts.
• The Special Part: Put a big scoop of Applesauce on the side of the plate. Take a bite of the meat and pasta, then a bite of the cool applesauce!
