Wild Yellowstone Drive | Continental Divide to Firehole Canyon Drive

Welcome back to Yellowstone National Park! Our journey continues as we leave Isa Lake and the Continental Divide, traveling north through the heart of Yellowstone toward Firehole Canyon Drive. Along the way, we pass some of Yellowstone's most iconic destinations, including Old Faithful Inn, the Upper Geyser Basin, Grand Prismatic Spring, Midway Geyser Basin, and the Fountain Paint Pots before turning onto scenic Firehole Canyon Drive. Each of these locations will receive its own dedicated Roaming Hoos Walkabout video, where we'll leave the vehicle behind to explore these incredible places up close with natural sounds and our narration. Wildlife also makes an appearance during this drive. 🐻 2:55 — Traffic comes to a complete stop as a brown bear is spotted alongside the road. After more than five minutes of stop-and-go traffic, the footage has been sped up so you can quickly reach the bear encounter. 🦬 9:37 — Another wildlife traffic jam develops as a herd of bison gathers near the roadway. This section has also been accelerated to move through the congestion, while still capturing the experience (including a reminder that wildlife deserves plenty of space—even when some visitors get much closer than they should). Because Yellowstone covers such an enormous area, portions of this drive have been increased to approximately 300% speed to keep the journey moving while preserving the relaxed pace through Yellowstone's major points of interest.
