(22) A very special and emotional day in the village! We start our morning in the garden, planting rows of potatoes together in the fresh summer soil. Back in the kitchen, I prepare marinated mushrooms with garlic and mayonnaise to grill over an open fire later. Then, the main surprise of the day arrives—a new electric tricycle for my 80-year-old grandfather! Seeing his face light up as he inspects his new ride and drives it into the garage is priceless. To celebrate, Grandpa lights up the BBQ grill to cook delicious meat skewers and our marinated mushrooms. We wrap up this memorable day by riding the new tricycle together to visit our family resting place.
