Today we head into the mountains to visit my mother's teak farm before stopping by the local village market, a place that holds so many childhood memories for me. This is the very market where I used to sell vegetables and fruit with my grandmother when I was little. I've been coming here since the day I was born, and returning now with my own children feels incredibly special. Growing up as the only half-Thai child in the village made me stand out, but everyone still remembers me with so much kindness. Now, seeing them welcome and adore my children is a beautiful full-circle moment that I'll treasure forever. Sometimes home isn't just a place, it's the people who remember where you came from.
