Reimagining Old Art Through Collage | Art Process | ASMR

In this video, I'm putting our creative prompt "Reimagine your art through collage" from the Studio Practice Series into practice. (SEE PROMPT HERE:    • The Art of Collage | Studio Practice Serie...  ) I revisit existing artwork and studies by cutting, rearranging, layering, and transforming familiar pieces into an unexpected composition, using a dimension that I have never worked with before. One of the things I love about collage is that it invites us to look at our own work very much differently. A painting or study that might have felt finished, forgotten, or even unsuccessful can suddenly become the beginning of something completely unexpected. In an effort to make my art practice as meditative as possible, there will be no narration in these video studies, just the natural sounds of making art in the studio.
