"Spud" by Jasper L'Estrange

A rift develops between two adolescent boys when their friendship with a seasonal worker at the funfair seems to coincide with sinister events in their hometown. WARNING: This story contains mild swearing and some adult themes. An original story © copyright of Jasper L’Estrange. CREATOR’S NOTE: These recordings contain sound effects and music because that’s what I personally like to listen to, and what I enjoy making. As you will see from the comments, a lot of the listeners also like it. If it’s not your thing, please feel free to listen to the many other narrators who are voice-only. You don’t even need to spend the time to tell me about it. Ditto your politics, a word you think I’ve mispronounced (trust me, I probably already know), the correct denomination of coin to put in a Christmas pudding, non-constructive criticism of my performance or my production (I'm not Meryl Streep and this isn't Abbey Road). This list is not exhaustive. The mute button can (and will) be deployed. Cheers. 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 Supporting my work If you like, you can donate in the following ways: Patreon:   / encryptedpod   YouTube channel membership:    / encryptedclassichorror   One-off donation: https://ko-fi.com/encryptedpodcast You can now also say THANKS (on YouTube) with a SUPER THANKS!
