Using the Matriarch’s round-robin paraphonic mode, four-note chords jump and move across the stereo field through the Matriarch’s built-in ping-pong delay. The result reminded me of birds in flight—somewhere between organic movement and a strange mechanical flock. Toward the end, aftertouch begins controlling the delay time, gradually slowing and warping the movement until the whole thing feels like it’s powering down. Everything you hear comes directly from the Moog Matriarch — no external effects or processing. An expression pedal is routed to the filter. Want to recreate the patch?
