Moog Matriarch “Infinite Motion” | Generative Sequence + BigSky Cloud

Infinite Motion is a hypnotic generative sequence created on the Moog Matriarch using four oscillators in round-robin mode. For the first 45 seconds, the Matriarch is completely dry so you can hear the patch on its own. From there, I gradually bring in the Strymon BigSky Cloud reverb, allowing the sequence to expand into a much larger ambient space. Throughout the performance, I bring individual oscillators in and out and shift their octaves, changing the weight, texture, and movement of the sequence while the underlying pattern continues. The result is repetitive without feeling static — a continuously evolving pattern that could seemingly run forever. Want to recreate the patch?
