Household Emergency Plans | AUSLAN | NT Emergency Service

Having a household emergency plan can help reduce the risk of injury and damage to you, your family and your property during an emergency. Plan for when family members will and won't be home, including work, school and apartment plans that may affect your household. Know how to reduce potential damage to your home and belongings, and how to turn off power, gas and water supplies. Keep valuables and important documents in a safe place, know where your emergency kit is stored, maintain an emergency contact list, and make sure everyone knows what to do and where to shelter. Download the household emergency plan template from SecureNT and take the time to prepare your household.
