DCS F-14A Zone 5 Event 11 - 4VUNK STRIKE - FINALE (No Commentary)

The final installment of our DCS F-14A Zone 5 playthrough. We experience the opportunistic nature of combat aviation and decide to execute an "alpha strike" package, putting into practice EVERYTHING learned over the previous 10 events. In this event, we fly as an element lead in a 4 ship of F-14As supporting a division of Marine Corps F-4s striking a target on the range we have fought over for so many hours. We witness the fluidity of air combat, and how a fighter sweep turns into a a merged furball, which evolves into escort, which then ends in a sketchy egress across some SAM engagement rings. One thing remains for certain though - situational awareness is still something that evolves proportionally to how many things are happening simultaneously, and how concise communication can either enhance, or degrade it.
