DCS F-14A Zone 5 Event 7 2vUNK BARCAP (No Commentary)

In today's event, we run the final 2vUNK in the syllabus, this time with a Barrier Combat Air Patrol mission set, or BARCAP. Another new piece of kit hits the pylons with the addition of the F-14's premier air-to-air weapon the AIM-54C Phoenix missile as well, to dictate the fight on our terms. As Bio says in the debrief though, nothings for free, as we trade that AIM-54C for having to push through an SA-2 envelope to intercept our bandit group today. Things get crazy fast, leading to an unintentional blue-on-blue engagement, which puts me at a severe disadvantage, and have one of the craziest ACM brawls of the campaign so far. (what the hell was hammer doing there anyway?) We take our licks and move on, we learn so that we do better when the real deal happens.
