東海道本線前面展望 清水→静岡 ＜Cabview Japanrail Tokaido Line Shimizu → Shizuoka＞

This is a cab view of the Tokaido Line, Japan's leading trunk line, from Shimizu Station to Shizuoka Station. Shimizu, the starting point of this trip, is a fishing town facing the Pacific Ocean, and the station is located near the port. Shizuoka City is the prefectural capital of Shizuoka Prefecture. It has a population of 670,000. During the Edo period, Tokugawa Ieyasu lived in Shizuoka three times in his life. The train runs parallel to the Tokaido Shinkansen. This is a short journey of 15 minutes. Filmed in December 2024.
