Hindlow to Crewe

Another fascinating run out with Freightliner Heavy Haul. We bring a 2300 tonne loaded stone train out of Hindlow Quarry near Buxton in Derbyshire. After running round the train at Buxton, we circumnavigate the suburbs of Manchester in order to face south on the main line to Crewe. We will pass over several freight only lines including the subterranean Independent Lines that dive under the northern approach to Crewe Station. Get some drinks and snacks, turn the volume up, this epic is over three hours long.
