In Me

In Me is a song about the prayer beneath so many other prayers: Lord, start here. Not with everyone else. Not with the situation. Not with what I wish was different around me. With me. Inspired by Psalm 51, this song is about asking God to search the places we can hide even from ourselves — our motives, our pride, our hurt, our habits, our resistance — and to create something clean and true within us. “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10 Sometimes the hardest prayer isn’t asking God to change what’s happening. It’s giving Him permission to change what’s happening in me. Thank you for listening. If a particular line speaks to you, I’d love to hear which one stayed with you. #InMe #ChristianMusic #ChristianSong #Psalm51 #Jesus #Faith #OriginalChristianMusic #ChristianLyrics #WorshipMusic #Prayer
