20 Years Later, Brian Shaffer's Disappearance Still Makes No Sense

The Brian Shaffer disappearance is Ohio's most haunting missing person mystery. At 1:55 a.m. on April 1, 2006, the 27-year-old Ohio State medical student was filmed stepping back into the Ugly Tuna Saloon at 1546 North High Street and never coming down the escalator. Police matched 40+ others leaving on camera, but not him. It traces his final bar hop with Clint Florence and Meredith Reed, the unmonitored back door to a construction site, and 5,000 tips that still haven't explained why he missed his flight to Miami two days later.
