CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF RUTH KATUMBI KASUU

EULOGY BIRTH The late Ruth Katumbi Kasuu was born in 1970 at Uvaini village, Lita location, Kathiani sub county, Machakos county. She was the first born of the late John Munyao Kavingu and the late Serah Munee. She was sister to Peter Musyimi, Luke Ndetei, Pst. Isaiah Nzyoki, Damaris Nduku, late Agnes Ndunge, Rose Mueni and Julius Kitaa . She was aunt to Patience, Caleb, Gloria, Ibrahim, Sheba, Sain, Israel and many others. She was cousin to Mwikali Kituku, Jackline, Morris Muteti (UK), Francis Mutuku, Muthama, Isaiah, Makundi, Vutu and many others. EDUCATION The late Ruth Katumbi joined Mutondoni Primary School in 1978 and completed in 1985. She joined Kaliluni Girls Secondary School in 1986 and completed in 1989. She later joined Meru Technical College in 1991 and completed in 1994. WORK The late Ruth Katumbi was a farmer and a health promoter volunteer at Katelembo /Kyamutheke Mua ward - Machakos county. MARRIAGE The late Ruth Katumbi got married to her beloved husband Julius Kasuu in 1995 and were blessed with three children namely; Hellen Syokau, Lilian Munee and Victor Kasuu. She was grandmother to Kimani, Michael and Grace. CHRISTIAN LIFE The late Ruth was an active member of St. Veronica Small Christian Community, Choir member and CWA member at Kizito Catholic Church - Kyumbi Parish. ILLNESS/DEMISE The late Ruth Katumbi enjoyed good health for the best part of her life, however in 2020 she started ailing and was diagnosed with diabetes which was well controlled through medication and attending different hospitals including Hope Mutituni Clinic and Bishop Kioko Catholic Hospital where she was admitted then discharged on 6/9/2024. On 13/9/2024 on her way back to hospital for review / medical check-up she went to be with Lord at the age of 54 years. God gives, God takes, you fought a good fight and finished the race. May the Lord rest her soul in eternal peace. Amen.
