Limpopo Floods | Progress made in rebuilding damaged infrastructure

The Limpopo government says it has made progress in rebuilding public infrastructure that was damaged by severe flooding, following heavy rains earlier this year. It was responding to calls by residents of some villages that were impacted by the floods. Many roads, bridges, houses and public facilities were damaged by floods that engulfed parts of the Mopani, Vhembe and Sekhukhune districts between January and February this year. The provincial government estimated that it would need at least four billion rand to repair infrastructure.
